The profession I would like to go into is accounting. In order to be a CPA you must have a 6 year degree in accounting and pass your CPA test. The salary they get is usually around 30,000 starting off and it can go up to at least 100,000 the longer you work. In fact, the bottom 10 percent of accountants make at least 36,000 per year.
I am thankful for the scholarships I got from Tennessee Tech, because without them I wouldn’t be able to even go to college. I am also thankful for my sorority, Delta Gamma. Without both of these things my life would be completely different and I am happy that I have both of them every day.
I attend the career fair, it didn’t help me much because a lot of the businesses there were for engineering majors, and also they were looking for upperclassmen that could actually start working soon. But I went and talked to two different businesses and looked at a majority of the booths.
For my athletic event, Ive attended Fraternity intramural games and also played in three football games. I played for my sorority and tonight I am also playing soccer. We lost our football games and Ive seen multiple fraternity games so Im not even sure who won those.
My community service was done with my sororities philanthropy. Our philanthropy is Service for Sight and I helped by sitting for 4 hours at the Penny Drop booth and also counting the total change for one day. Also I helped by coaching one of the swim teams for the competition that night, that also helped raise money for Service for Sight.
I had to leave early for this one because I was sick, but we met four different people from different business organization clubs on campus. We got told information about each one and got the chance to sign up to join one of them. I signed up to get more information about the SAM club but Im not sure if Im going to actually join.

This is the link to my career assessment. I’m not really sure how to read it, everything is pretty confusing.
Today I visited the Derryberry Art Gallery. The artist was Christopher Troutman and the pictures were actually very interesting. They were charcoal mixed with other things and had a certain texture to the picture. The picture were mostly crops of larger ones that he had sketched and they were describing a scene. I don’t really enjoy art that much, but it looked like he did a good job.
This was actually really entertaining and kept my interest. He used the scenario of winning a million dollars and graduating college. He also focused on the point that we should want everyone to graduate because it effects our future within our salaries and also the economy.
